Welcome to Steamboat!

Steamboat Springs CO

Orange Peel Bikes was born and bred in Steamboat Springs, CO. We love this community, and try to do our part to make it better. Here are some other local organizations doing great work.

Yampa Valley Community Foundation: A funding source for our local trail building efforts, which we support. https://yvcf.org/trails/

Routt County Riders began in the early 1990s as a group of mountain bikers interested in building and maintaining trails in our area. In the early 2000s, local road cyclists started showing up to meetings asking for representation to advocate for safer roads. As interest and membership grew, we began to support programs and scholarships for youth cycling, community cycling initiatives and advocacy, and both mountain and road cycling events.

Today we are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) Chapter club that continues to grow and represent more variations of biking, including downhill/freeride, year-round commuting, and adaptive cycling. http://routtcountyriders.org/trail-report/

Bicycle Colorado is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Denver. Our mission is to lead a passionate and growing movement that champions the interests of everyone who rides or wants to ride a bicycle in our state. www.bicyclecolorado.org

The Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association, Inc. (COPMOBA) is a member-supported, nonprofit organization of volunteer mountain bikers dedicated to advocating for, building, and maintaining sustainable singletrack mountain bike trails on the Colorado Plateau in Western Colorado.
