About Us: Orange Peel & Bikes
A Orange Peel we live and breathe two wheels. We ride our bikes to work. We ride our bikes home. We ride bikes for the fun of it. We ride bikes to make a political statement. We race our bikes. We ride our bikes year 'round. We ride bikes for fun, which is worth repeating. We ride bikes with our families. We ride bike into the mountains, through the valleys, and off into the sunset.
Orange Peel Bicycle Service LLC is open year round. We only do bikes. Find us in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado on the river and along the bikepath. We have the craziest building you have ever seen, an old sawmill/incinerator converted into a bike shop. And the roof comes off. (Imagine a large German beer stein, the kind with a pewter top... insert bike shop.)

About Steamboat Springs, CO 80477
Riding in Steamboat is truly incredible. Mountain bike trails leave town in every direction of the compass. The Continental Divide Trail runs through Steamboat, and we've been helping CDT riders our for years now. There are endless county roads for superb road riding. There are huge mountain passes for those inclined to suffering. Steamboat Ski and Resort even offers trips up on the gondola for those who want only to go downhill.
Orange Peel: the name
Where did the name Orange Peel come from? Add two parts old orange Schwinn, one part orange t-shirt fetish, a drop of citrus degreaser (for scent) and mix thoroughly. Spread across an orange freshly cut in cross section. What do you see? The image of a bicycle wheel. Coincidence? Hardly. Orange Peel Bicycle Service LLC: It's vitamin C for your bike, 100% RDA. The healthful fruits of a healthy lifestyle in the sun.
